Family Album
The album has been initiated in order to show you many of the dogs that
appear in current Sonnenschein and other pedigrees. Some of these dogs may
not be currently producing or alive. Many of them have played an important
role in our breeding program or they are sources of pride for us.
Ch. Sonnenschein Word Perfect
"Noël"
Noël is owned by Leta Whittington, Paragon Giant Schnauzers. She
is the dam of the Paragon "A" litter. Noël had a nice show
career which included group placements and an Award of Merit at the Eastern
Regional Specialty 1999.
Ch. Sonnenschein Whiskey River
"Willy"
1996-2001
Willy is the sire of the "I" litter born in December
2001 out of Ch. Sonnenschein Chasn' A Promise.
Ch. Sonnenschein Rags to Riches
"Rags"
Rags is the dam of the "W" litter that included Noël
and Willy. She finished her championship quickly and was Winners Bitch at
a G.S.C.A. Southern Regional Specialty. Rags is 11 years young at this writing.
Ch. Yugo de Pichera
"Yugo"
Yugo was bred to Ch. Sonnenschein Rags to Riches producing
Ch. Sonnenschein Word Perfect as well as Ch. Sonnenschein Whiskey River.
He was also bred to Ch. Sonnenschein Unforgettable producing our most recent
champion Sonnenschein Diamond Cut.
Ch. Sonnenschein Risky Business
"Risky"
Risky completed his championship very
easily and has gone on to prove that he has a lot to offer as a Sire. He
has already sired several champions, among them Ch. Brighton's Risqué
of Ambar who was Winners Bitch at the 1995 G.S.C.A. National Specialty.
Other youngsters have major points and will soon be champions including
Brighton's Irresistible who was Winners Bitch and Best of Winners at the
1996 Eastern Regional Specialty held in San Antonio, Texas.
Risky has a lovely topline and tailset which seem to be passed to his progeny
with consistency. He also has a beautifully wide and strong driving hindquarter
which is being passed along to his offspring as well. Risky is a high energy
dog with a fabulous attitude, great sense of fun and is our very special
companion at home.
Ch. Skansen Indiana Jones
"Jones"
Jones was one of my favorite Skansen dogs. I used him several times,
purchased two of his daughters and a full sister from a repeat breeding.
He is in most of my current pedigrees, except those that are purely Spanish.
