Ch. Al Kamir de Pichera
"Kamil"
Kamil, Mil or Millard as he is known at
home is co-owned with Enid Lagree of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Enid lived
in Germany until summer 1995 and while there became increasingly impressed
with the dogs being bred by the Pichera Kennel. We decided to purchase one
for co-ownership, so Mil came to live in Texas in June of 1994.
Kamil has a lovely hard, double coat, very nice shoulder, deep chest and
prominent forechest. His hindquarter is excellent with nice strong drive.
He has a wonderful gregarious disposition, plenty protective when necessary,
but discerning enough to know when to make friends and he truly loves to
do so.
He has produced 4 litters and in each case we have seen lovely puppies with
outgoing, energetic dispositions. Two now have obtained championships and
there are others with major points. Kamil was bred in 1994 to my own bitch
Ch. Skansen's Social Climber and of that litter I took one young bitch Sonnenschein
Unforgettable (Natalie, naturally) to our 1995 National Specialty week-end,
at 6 months of age she was Best of Opposite Sex at both the Regional and
National Specialty Puppy Sweepstakes and Winners Bitch at the Eastern Regional
Specialty.
Kamil's dam is Zarza de Pichera who is a sister to the incomparable Friper
de Pichera. Friper has won the World show as well as the Bundessieger titles
and is one of the top winning Giants of all time in Europe. De Pichera Kennel
is, without question, the top Giant Schnauzer Kennel in Europe today, winning
almost all the big shows the last few years. It was a great honor for Enid
and I to be able to bring Kamir (Kamil) a favorite with his breeders, to
this country for the Sonnenschein breeding program.

Ch. Sonnenschein Unforgettable
"Natalie"
Natalie is from the last litter produced by Ch.
Skansen's Social Climber, Maddie. She is from the first litter produced
by Kamil after arriving in America from Spain. Natalie was Winners Bitch
at the Eastern Regional Specialty in 1995 at 7 months. of age. She is the
dam of our "D" litter bred to Ch. Yugo de Pichera...which produced
Ch. Sonnenschein Diamond Cut; also dam of the "F" litter bred
to Ch. Greco de Pichera...which produced Sonnenschein Fandango; and the
dam of the "J" litter bred to Ch. Sonnenschein Xults Mt. Nitany....which
produced Sonnenschein Jubilee. Natalie is retired and enjoying every minute
of it.

"Chainey"
Chainey is litter sister to Natalie. She is very
lovely hard coated girl. Chainey is the dam of the "Z" litter,
bred to Ch. Eos de Pichera.
